About The Tale of Two Sons

A man, clinging to life. His two sons, desperate to cure their ailing father, are left with but one option. They must set out upon a journey to find and bring back the “Water of Life” as they come to rely on one another to survive. One must be strong where the other is weak, brave where the other is fearful, they must be… Brothers.

Word to Word

1- The game looks like a fairy tale or a fantasy themed adventure. What were the inspirations behind the overall design?
Answer– It was definitely Swedish myth and a book “Brothers lion heart” and is written by “Astrid Lindgren”.

2- Do the brothers have names? They were referred to as Big Brother and Little Brother in all the interviews I watched
Answer– They do have names, but it is up to the player to interpret that. That is pretty much how the game is told, we leave a lot up to the player.

3- How long is the game?
Answer– Between 3-4 hours. My hope is that the player plays the game in one sitting to experience it properly.

4- Is this a part of a series or is this a one time thing?
Answer– It is a one time thing.

5- Will the game make it to the PS Vita? (I would get it for the Vita if it was on it)
Answer– I am afraid not.

6- What was the most challenging aspect in making this game?
Answer– Definitely how to solve the games mechanics and the camera. There is not so many games out there were you control two characters at the same time.
