You read the headline right, The MGS Legacy Collection isn’t going to be available on the Xbox 360 and will only be a PlayStation exclusive.
Why? Well, ill let Kojima explain,
“I’m sorry to say an Xbox 360 version isn’t being released, because an Xbox 360 version of MGA4 hasn’t gone on sale,” Kojima said on his podcast. “To explain the situation, the amount of data in MGS4 is just too enormous.”
“When it’s the next [Xbox] console, maybe we can release it,” Kojima said. “If we released a version on the Xbox 360 without MGS4, then it’s not The Legacy Collection.”
If The Legacy Collection would release then you’re looking at a 7 DVD set. I doubt it would be fun changing the CD that often.
So, there you have it, looks like another score for PlayStation users.
