This week, Sony has scheduled to have a Maintenance before October 17th, when the PlayStation Store gets a total refit and interface as seen down below:

As Sony notes in their forums post:
If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.
“Thanks for your patience during this maintenance time frame, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
As Reported earlier this week, Europe will be getting the first update on October 17th, with North America following up on October 23th.
On October 15th, the PlayStation Network will be down from 4 a.m. PT/7 a.m. ET until 4 p.m. PT/7 a.m. ET.
