According to the Brazilian ratings board, the original Far Cry will be re-releasing in HD on Xbox 360 and PS3. The original Far Cry was developed by Crytek and launched as a PC exclusive back in 2004.
No word yet whether the game will be released as a physical form or downloadable on PSN & XBLA.
When asked about this, Ubisoft replied with the usual “we don’t comment on rumors or speculation” line.
Make of that what you will. Personally I hope this does release because I never got to play this.
