I guess the harsh feed back and PlayStation 4 getting all the love has finally caught up the the bosses at Microsoft HQ, it has now been confirmed that they will change its Xbox One DRM policy and no longer require a 24 hour online check-in for offline games.
Games can now have no restrictions and can be passed around, but You’ll still need an internet connection to set up your Xbox One console, but after that you can play all you want without worried about always being connected online.
Its basically what Sony announced for the PS4 at E3.
– no 24 hour connection requirement
– no limitations to using and sharing games
– you will be able to play them offline
– trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today
– no longer region locked
So still going to buy the Xbox One?
Nope this is just like getting toghter with your ex lol
