EA has released a new trailer ( It’s been removed by EA ) for Crysis 3 showing various multiplayer modes that will be on offer once the full game launches.
The trailer is showing Hunter Mode, Crash Site Mode, and the New York Feed, a service similar to Autolog in Need for Speed. First is Hunter Mode, in this two players start off as Nano Suit clad hunters and everyone else plays a trooper, the aim is for the hunters to kill all the troopers in the allotted time limit. Once a player is killed by a hunter they become one themselves.
The second mode is Crash Site, a returning game type from Crysis 2 which sees two teams of eight on the PC and six on consoles attempting to take control of points on the map, the longer you hold an area the more points you accumulate for your team.
Lastly there’s the New York Feed which EA is calling Autolog for Crysis. The feed dynamically generates a map of New York which tells you what your friends are up to, it also allows you to create challenges for your friends to complete.
Crysis 3 is expected to release sometime in February 2013.
