DICE has explained how players will get to be the Commander in Battlefield 4‘s Commander Mode, and it’s a lot simpler than was first thought.
Many thought it would be based on your rank or time played, but it turns out that you simply have to join the Commander queue and wait for your turn & it gives everyone a chance to take the role, the developer revealed on Twitter. Players also have the ability to remove their Commander if they feel that he is just slowing them not and not helping at all. Squad Leaders can initiate a vote to kick on the Commander, if enough votes are cast for the kick then they are removed from the server.
