Danger Close, the dev team behind Medal of Honor and MoH: Warfighter have been disbanded, Electronic Arts has confirmed.
All the staff from that team have been spread to out existing companies such as DICE L.A. and other branches of EA.
EA’s Patrick Soderlund, “Danger Close as it was doesn’t exist anymore,” he said. “There are people who left L.A., people who work with DICE L.A., and there are some who work in other parts of EA, as always when something gets dismantled.”
MoH: Warfighter did poorly in sales and with critics, its reboot from 2010 did reasonable well but still didn’t meet its expectations and also considered a flop.
DICE’s Stockholm branch is currently working on a number of high-profile titles, including Mirror’s Edge 2, Battlefield 4 and Battlefront.
